A Heartfelt, Unending Gift

So warm, drawing closer
Arms wrapped around me
So thin, so sincere
Comfort sweeps through me

Relaxing my head
Hearing his humming heart
My arms wrapping tighter
Melting, mending my desperate heart

His back, so strong
We linger in the night
Embracing as if it's our last
No, not tonight, not this night

My body begs--don't let go
His smell permeates, releasing
High, feeling fulfilled
Our arms loosen, releasing

Our souls now closer, bound
We stand there, mesmerized
At the magic we just found
